Ok, so I went ahead and did the lifeline, to see if my skirt was flaring too much, or too little.
after an hour or putting hundreds of teeny tiny stitches onto a string, I found out that I did indeed have everything set up correctly to make a knit top, like I originally was going to do!
I'll find out for sure in about 2300 stitches (10 rows).
Still not 100% for sure if I'm going to make sleeves or not yet though.
